Secure setup

Owner sign-in · Setup is restricted to Naomi.

Connect your free OpenRouteService account to calculate delivery charges from a customer's address.

Checking secure setup…

On your HeiGIT dashboard, click the copy icon beside Basic Key, then paste it here. The key is sent to this site's server over HTTPS and saved encrypted. It isn't added to chat, returned to the browser or included in website code.

Live customer ordering

Checking live setup…

In Stripe, switch from your sandbox to your live business account. Open API keys and copy a live server key starting sk_live_ or rk_live_.

A restricted key needs Checkout Sessions read/write and Webhook Endpoints write access. Connecting registers the payment confirmation endpoint in your Stripe account and saves its signing secret encrypted. Keep the key out of chat. Saving does not open ordering or take a payment.

Opening enables real pay-on-receipt orders and real card charges. Review the menu, stock and delivery charges first. The worker should be ready on the kitchen dashboard. Cancelling an order in the kitchen does not refund a Stripe payment; refunds are managed by you in Stripe.

Optional test payment connection

Stripe test payments

Checking Stripe connection…

In your Stripe dashboard, select a sandbox or test mode, then open API keys.

A restricted test key is recommended: grant Checkout Sessions read and write access. A test secret key also works. Use a key starting rk_test_ or sk_test_. This optional test form rejects live keys. Use the live section above for real payments. Paste the key only into this secure form, never into chat.

After saving, choose Card via Stripe at checkout. On Stripe's test payment page, use card 4242 4242 4242 4242, any future expiry and any three-digit CVC. Use fictional test details. Test payments do not move real money. Stripe testing guide

Email alerts

Checking email connection…

Order alerts go to browningcaterers1970@outlook.com.

For order alerts, create a free Resend account using that same email address. On Resend's API Keys page, create a Sending access key. The Free plan allows 100 emails per day and 3,000 per month. Stay on Free; this website does not upgrade your plan.

The default sender is for testing to your Resend account's own email only. Before live alerts, use a sender on a domain you own and have verified in Resend.

Saving sends one connection test email to the business inbox. New orders send an alert when saved, or after a card payment is confirmed. Submitted means the provider accepted it; check the inbox and junk folder. The dashboard shows email failures. Email is subject to provider limits.

Verification uses one request from your existing free allowance. No paid maps plan is enabled. Customer ordering stays closed until live setup is complete and you press Open customer ordering.
